Fairlawn's neighborhood Mexican kitchen

Casa Del Rio Express is Fairlawn's go-to for scratch-made Mexican food — big portions, fast service, and the kind of hospitality that keeps regulars coming back 50 times and counting.

Casa del Rio is one of the better Mexican restaurants in Akron. The portion sizes are quite large, especially for the price. The service here is super fast and the food comes out shockingly quick, in just a few minutes. The birria tacos are really nice and the margaritas are great too.

The food here was absolutely amazing. Best fajitas I have ever had! The sauce on the fajitas made them even more wonderful. Their signature margarita was mixed beautifully and had great flavor. The Christmas music in Spanish was perfect for the ambiance and the service was excellent. Our server was so friendly and attentive.

I already loved this place, because the first time I came here they gave me a free shot of tequila while we waited for our food. The vibes are fantastic. For what was probably my 50th visit, I came to pick up dinner on Cinco de Mayo. Every person on the staff was just crushing it. Even on such a busy night, everything was quick and the food was perfect.

When I'm on this side of town, this restaurant is my 1st choice for Mexican food. The food is always hot and delicious and the service workers are fast and friendly. I like sitting in the outside patio area. It's closed in and air conditioned with desirable, roomy seating. Pricing is competitive. I dined in and it was a great atmosphere.
